This small 8 x 8 panel is pastel, acrylic and pyrography (edges) on wood panel. I've recently begun combining conte crayon with my trusty acrylics, layered for deeper, richer color and smooth texture. Wood burning the edges of my panels - especially smaller works - is a way to add my 'signature' and lend a special touch to the piece.
