The Reclamation Series explores visually the reclamation of the earth from the damage of man, by the goddesses of the earthly elements. Developed for an exhibition at Valkarie Gallery in Lakewood, CO, the series debuted in the 2020 exhibition "Mythical and Elemental Forces: Of Earth and Man". All works are 24 x 30 acrylic on wood.

Though the panels were primed, I did attempt to allow some of the texture of the wood to remain intact, to give the work a more natural and earthy feel.
