Interpretations Series I,II, III

Having stumbled upon a photo of an abandoned and rotting gourd, I was puzzled at first, attempting to examine it from different angles to determine its origin.  I decided to take several photos of the hapless veggie corpse, and create a series around it, with each piece utilizing the gourd in a different way.  The goal was to encourage the viewer to explore and examine their world according to varying perspectives.

Tools of the trade!  Dried flowers are useful for on-the-fly reference material for organic elements, charcoal, graphite and extra fine point pens are crucial for sketching, shading and detailed linework.
